I created these tools because as an Illustrator, I wanted pencils, paints and other artists materials that felt like the real traditional material I used in my work. So I hand painted, scanned real art material samples, edited them in Photoshop, made many adjustments to their appearance and performance, tested, tested some more and eventually there were tools that just 'felt right' and looked great too.
